Tazha Williams is a multi-dimensional artist. She is a graphic designer, musician and artist. Her work is a means to explore concepts such as identity and freedom while calling for a cultural shift that uplifts marginalized existences.
Tazha's creative process stems from her vibrant, lived experience as a queer woman of African descent. Her hard work is always an ode to the lost narratives of her creative and resilient ancestors.
Tazha was the 2017 Lilla Jewel Award winner of Oregon's MRG Foundation, the Livingkindness Foundation awardee and she's been featured in the San Diego Union Tribune, on The Today Show and on KUSI news showcasing her creative talent.
From San Diego, CA, Tazha has resided in Portland, OR since 2015. Inspired by a community of artists and activists, she is currently in the process of attaining her BFA from the Pacific Northwest College of Art (PNCA).
